Whirlwind Summer

Fall is coming,..time to snuggle into sweaters. Warm and fuzzy feelings are upon us all. Even these two, as one hedgehog is saying to the other..”maybe we can just share the hedge!”

Silliness aside, how is it possible that its already September. My granddaughters are back to school after a full summer.

Summer and the 2023 Saltyhag season is in review. An odd busy year as wholesale orders and small commissions far exceeded foot traffic so far.. l truth l did not advertise nearly as much as last year. But also true is that l’ve still been nearly as busy. And the pace that exists is satisfying.

l’m still here felting away in my shop til it gets too cold, likely until mid- October. In the next few weeks l’d like to fulfill a request for some Halloween things. I had the Saltyhag Shop doors open for the trick or treaters last year an it was fun to have youngsters and their kind parents in the space.

On November 20th l will move to the space beside Shipshape Barbershop to better prepare for and partake in this year’s Seaside Christmas celebration. I can’t wait to be amidst the bustle and excitement of that weekend. I was not prepared for the magnitude of visitors last year. I’m determined will to be ready with lots of things this year.

Pop in any time to see what is in the works. I wil be creating Christmas decorations and Christmas cards and lots of other things between now and then. Have a joyous Autumn season. I hope to see you soon.
